These terms cover bricksthegame.com and the free Br!cks demo in your browser ("the demo"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you buy the full game on Steam, Steam's own terms apply to that purchase.
The demo
The demo is free and offered as it is. It's a preview: it has limits, it may change, and we may pause or end it at any time. We do our best to keep your saved world safe, but we can't promise it will never be lost, so please don't rely on the demo to store anything you can't replace.
Your account
Signing in is optional and uses a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email safe, as anyone who can read it can sign in as you. We may remove accounts or saves that break these terms.
What you build
What you build is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it back to you, which is how saving works. If you share pictures or videos of your builds, you're welcome to, including online and in videos.
Fair use
Please don't attack, overload, reverse-engineer or try to break into the site, the demo or other players' data, and don't use them for anything unlawful. Be kind in the community spaces we link to; Discord's own rules also apply there.
Our work
The game, its pieces, artwork, films, music, name and logo belong to us. Apart from sharing your own builds, please don't copy, resell or redistribute them without our permission.
Liability
The site and the demo are provided "as is", without warranties. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses or for lost saves or data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections your local law gives you.
